I visited your restaurant with my elderly neighbour. It was a Groupon deal which I saw and knew my friend had been very disappointed when the restaurant closed some years ago. She had fond memories of going there with her mother for many years. She was delighted to hear it had reopened and has always spoke very highly of the food and service she had experienced over the years. She was not disappointed - the waitress was very pleasant and friendly and the food was excellent. I would certainly tell my friends to try it. The only downside was the stairs for my friend as she has some difficulty walking now and did find it a bit of a struggle. Despite that I am sure she will make the effort to get up the stairs again as she knows she will be in for a great meal when she gets there. Thank you very much for a really tasty meal.

Really fancied some fried chicken but someone recommended Nash's fish and chips instead. Had a full tank of unleaded so drove into the centre of Leeds and found the restaurant. Really glad I did, great meal at a great price.

Am here with the Opera and my colleague suggested Nash's and enjoyed a takeaway fish and chips lunch. Truly some of the best fish I have ever eaten! Very crispy and not greasy at all including the chips. Want a hot, quick tasty lunch? This is the place to go!

All excellent - absolutely perfect, had everything I always wanted from a restaurant but I could never get it until my visit to Nash's. I hope to visit you again soon and if chips weren't so fattening, I'd be there every day.

Please don't change anything. Best fish & chips in the world! Just a shame we don't live closer or we would be in at least once a week. Well done on rejuvenating a classic Leeds restaurant.

Superb fish and chips in the style that only Yorkshire can do. Our waitress (Emanuel) was so friendly and professional. Well done Nash's! I shall definitely revisit the next time I am in Leeds and also recommend your restaurant to friends and business associates.

We very much enjoyed the meal but unfortunately could not manage the bread and butter or mushy peas!! The Murder Mystery experience was delightful and certainly had our 'little grey cells' working overtime. Well done to everyone.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal last weekend gone. The service was fantastic, the fish ā€˜nā€™ chips were to die for and the atmosphere was just like back in the day (so I hear) but with a modern feel as well. We shall be returning soon.

Last week we celebrated my daughter's wedding in the function room. James was sensitive to all our needs. We were delighted beyond words with the quality of service, food, and atmosphere. As many folks traveled from the Ireland, Scotland, and the USA - everyone expressed to me, mother of the bride, their satisfaction and comfort here at Nash's. A job well done. Thank you. Looks like a lovely place for a Christmas holiday celebration.

I visited the restaurant with my friends a few weeks ago, and we all agreed that these were the best fish and chips we've tasted. I used to visit before Nash's closed, and I must say the fish and chips are as good as they ever were.

Sheer Joy!!! The food was fantastic and the service was formal and charming. A real treat, my parents took me as a child and now I'm taking my children - thats three generations enjoying the food, this is no leading chain pre prepared frozen tack!! This is good traditional Yorkshire fish & chips made the way they should be... Well done Nash's on restoring a piece of Leeds history !!!

Nash's always used to be our grandparents' treat on a Saturday afternoon too. Revisited it a few years ago and it was still there but fading fast. A real throwback to the 70s (Mateus Rosé bottles, fruit juice as a starter, formally dressed Irish waitresses &c). Thrilled that it's been refurbed. Can't wait to give it a try.

During a brief trip to your city last week my friend, who is originally from Leeds, was keen to show me her old haunts one of which was Nash's Fish Restaurant. She last visited 25 years ago and so imagine her delight when we discovered that not only was it still there but had only been open a couple of weeks following a refurbishment. We were warmly welcomed, the restaurant was spacious but cosy and the food was excellent. Our only regret was that we couldn't manage a dessert. Looking forward to my next visit.

I was so excited to read that Nash's had reopened in the Yorkshire Evening Post - it used to be my favourite restaurant and I have so many happy memories visiting Nash's before the family would go to the Grand Theatre. I have to say that you have done a great job in making Nash's great once again. The quality of the Fish & Chips was superb.
